    Our Vision

We have come to fill a void and make a difference. We have come to add value to society and to community journalism. Our coming is a direct response to the need for the institutionalisation in Osun state of all that is noble in journalism.

There is always a time in the life of every society when clear and unambiguous steps are taken to free the people from the shackles of ignorance and, even, deliberate misinformation. Such a period is usually characterized by frontal attacks on and the sack from the system of all vestiges of quackery. We have come to do all these.

We will do more. We have come to be the voice of the muffled and the “strong sword arm of justice.” Promotion of the rule of law through saying the truth in all situations and at all times shall be a cardinal guiding principle of OSUN MAIL.

With our coming, we intend to convince the sceptical readership of newspapers that it is possible, even at community level, to say it as it is and bare it all for public good not minding the consequences.

Ours will be a regular balanced diet of juicy news, entertainment, sports and politics. We will be a complete newspaper which gives everybody everything.

Our world is Osun State but even with this in mind, we promise to be a reliable window to other climes. We promise to be a vehicle for the development of our dear state in the comity of states.

As we educate, we also get educated and that is why we say that we will be receptive to ideas from the public on the need to make the media system work for public good.

Our goal is to discharge our social responsibility in such a way that we shall be seen to be fair to all manners of people. We will work dispassionately without giving undue favour or having any ill will to any person or group. Justice, fairness and equity shall be our motto, democracy is our goal.
